최근 교토의정서 협약 체결 후 전 세계적으로 각종 환경 관련 규제가 강화되고 있으며, 고유가에 따른 지속 가능한 에너지원의 필요성 확대에 따른 재생에너지분야의 연구가 집중적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 재생에너지 분야 중 풍력발전시스템에 적용하고자 우리나라의 지형 및 풍속을 조사 분석하여 풍력에너지를 검토해보고자 한다.
