Abstract

The problem of ground settlements due to the construction of underground structures was considered. Various equations based on theoretical, experimental, and empirical estimation methods were reviewed. A method suggested by Murayama was presented In detail. The comparison of estimation by Murayama's method with the results of a series of model tunnel tests showed reasonable agreements. It was concluded that, despite of some limitations, Murayama's method might be useful for tile first·time estimation of ground settlements due to the construction of tunnels through granular soils in field conditions.

지하구조물의 시공시 발생하는 지반침하문제를 고찰하여 지금까지 제안된 여러 이론적·실험적·경험적 산정식을 개관하고 무라야마(촌산)의 산정식을 자세히 소개하였다. 무라야마의 산정식을 모형터널분험결과와 비교한 바 비교적 좋은 결과를 얻었다. 몇 가지 제약사항이 있음에도 불구하고 무라야마의 방법이 실제터널시공시의 침하개산에 활용될 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.
