Abstract

In order to provide a more user-friendly simulation modeling environment, this research identifies and designs a new simulation modeling approach which allows modularized model-building and step-by-step guidance in model building. In the course of performing this research, six basic types of state classes are identified and then designed. The six state classes embed knowledge about the construction resource behavior that corresponds to the operation structure. According to a given operation structure, they duplicate the behavior of construction resources. This research finally demonstrates simulation modeling procedure by utilizing this new modeling approach.

건설관리를 지원하기 위한 도구로서 시뮬레이션은 많은 잠재력을 가졌음에도 불구하고, 건설관리의 분야에서 그 활용이 외국의 사례로 극히 제한되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션 시스템 활용에 대한 장애요인의 하나인 모델구축 작업의 어려움을 극복하기 위하여, 건설 공정에 있어 모듈에 의한 단계적인 시뮬레이션 모델구축을 지원할 수 있도록 새로운 모델링 방법을 제시하고, 이러한 모델링 방법에 의한 모델 구축과정의 시연을 수행하였다.
