Abstract
Objectives : Puerperium is the period of confinement during and just after labor. Technically, the meaning includes the 6 subsequent weeks after delivery. During this time the reproductive tract returns anatomically to its nonpregnant state. We investigated the physical characteristics of Puerperas by checking Yangdorak. Methods : We tested the potentially of the skin resistance check(Yangdorak) 200 puerperas who admitted to the Sanhujoriwon(facilities for puer[era) from Oct.1, 2000 to Aug.31, 2001. Result : Excessiveness of the H5(三焦)and Deficiency of the F5(膽) was to be very superior. In comparing with deficiency of the kidney and bladder meridians on the Yangdorak, puerperas were less than pregnant women. Conclusion : Deficiency of the gall bladder·kidney·pericardium·heartvstomach·spleen meridians and excessiveness of the triple energiger·large intestine·small intestine·lung meridians were to be special in total puerperas group.
