Abstract

The warp knit structures could be grouped by cluster analysis of mechanical and physical properties. The resulting classified groups were thought to show the distinctive characteristics between groups. By Analyzing the structures within And between groups, the effect of structural parameters on the overall properties of warp knitted fabrics could be determined. The results provided that formalized factors affecting characteristics of warp knitted fabrics were run-in ratio, pillar-lapping movement, direction of relative guide bar movement with parallel or counter lapping, and lap type of closed or open one.
