New Record of Dichromothrips smithi (Zimmermann) (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) Injurious to Orchidaceae in Korea

Abstract

The genus Dichromothrips Priesner and the species D. smithi (Zimmermann) are recognized on Orchidaceae for the first time in Korea. The probable introduced species is redescribed with illustrations of many parts of body Damage symptoms on Cymbidium, Dendrobium, and Phalaenopsis are also provided.
