Abstract

This study worts on how to change the public library paradigm in the side view of library faculties and environments, digital library, culture and structure. Also, here manages the need of knowledge management and components with the status problem of public library for a basis. This study aims to propose the total knowledge management model based on the knowledge management frameworks ; management strategy, the human resources, processing, and network.

도서관은 인류문화 유산을 집대성하여 계승하고 현재의 모든 지식정보자원을 기반으로 미래사회를 개척할 수 있는 전략과 전술, 과학기술뿐만 아니라, 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 등의 모든 분야의 콘텐츠를 제공하는 곳이다. 더군다나 공공도서관은 공중의 지식정보와 이용 문화활동 및 평생교육을 증진함을 주된 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 연구는 공공도서관의 패러다임이 어떻게 변화되고 있는가를 도서관기능과 환경의 변화 측면에서 다루었고 디지털 도서관의 등장과 그 의의를 제시하였다. 또한 새로운 공공도서관문화 및 조직구조 창출, 도서관 정보조직구조의 변화를 다루었다. 공공도서관의 현황분석에서 나타나는 문제점을 토대로 공공도서관에서 지식경영의 필요성과 그 구성요소를 도출하였으며, 지식경영 프레임워크를 기반으로 한 통합형 지식경영모형을 제안하였다.
