Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to research and suggest ideal environment for the preservation of the National library collections. Current conditions of National library was also investigated, and many results showed that not only technical resolutions but also reorganization of staffs and structure is needed. Moreover, for the realization of ideal preservation environment, mid-long term development plans for the National Library was also provided.

본 연구는 국립중앙도서관의 자료보존을 위한 이상적인 환경을 연구하고 제안하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 자료보존을 위한 현 상황을 조사하였으며, 문제점을 파악하고 개선하기 위한 방안들을 도출하였다. 이에는 자료보존을 위한 기술적인 방안들뿐만 아니라, 인력과 조직의 재구성, 정책제안 등도 함께 포함된다. 나아가, 새로운 국가도서관으로서의 역할 및 기능을 담당할 수 있도록 이상적인 자료보존환경 제시를 목적으로 한 국립중앙도서관 자료보존 중 장기 발전계획도 함께 제시하였다.
