Abstract

On the fish community including Micropterus salmoides population, introduced species inKorea, interspecific association through coexistence by presence-absence among species populations were discussed from the year of 1970 to 2002. In the total of 7,192 sampling stations in Korea, the community including Micropterus salmoides population were confirmed at 46 sampling sites, and coexistent fishes were 72 species. Fish species having high coexistence rate were Zacco platypus, Obsarlichthys bidens,Hemiculter eigenmanni and Squalidus japonicus coreanus populations in the order of their number. A association indices values between population were in the order of Micropterus salmoides-Zacco platypus, Micropterus salmoides-Carassius auratus, and Micropterus salmoides-Hemiculter eigenmanni population. Judging from the dendrogram according to association indices between species population, 7 species populations were clustered in the community including M. salmoides population. Being based on association values among species population in the community including M. salmoides population, 11 species population pairs including Lepomis macrochirus-Carassus cubieri etc. showed somewhat high significance (p<0.05), and 7 species population pair including Zacco platypus-Obsarlichthys bidens etc.represented higher association among species population (p<0.01). With the increasing of lake-river in Korea, it keenly need to take a regulation program of the Micropterus salmoides population.
