벤처기업의 성공요인에 관한 한·미간 비교연구

Abstract

이 연구는 우리나라와 미국의 벤처기업 지원정책에 대한 비교연구를 통하여 두 나라 벤처기업가의 특성 및 벤처기업의 성공요인을 규명함으로써 향후 효과적인 벤처정책에 대한 정책적 시사점을 제공하는 것을 연구목적으로 하였다. 연구결과, 일반적으로 우리나라 벤처기업가는 미국의 벤처기업가보다 창업보육센터의 서비스 지원기능을 불신하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 한국의 경우 정부 지원 창업보육센터가 기대에 비해 지원정도가 낮아 창업보육센터를 통한 정부의 벤처기업 창업 및 보육지원정책이 효과적이지 않을 뿐만 아니라 제대로 이루어지고 있지도 않은 것으로 나타났다. 향후 벤처기업 창업보육지원정책은 벤처기업의 성공요인에 초점을 맞추어야 할 것으로 보인다. 모든 벤처기업에게 가능한 한 많은 지원서비스를 해야한다는 현재의 지원정책을 개별 벤처기업에게 가장 적실한 서비스를 선별?제공한다는 방향으로 수정하여야 할 것이다. 왜냐하면 대부분의 벤처기업들이 창업보육활동으로부터 그들이 지원 받기를 원하는 서비스를 잘 알고있기 때문이다. 그러므로 향후 벤처기업 창업보육 지원정책은 벤처기업이 필요할 것이라고 정부가 규정하여 지원하고자하는 현재의 지원정책에서 벤처기업이 원하는 개별 지원서비스 위주의 지원정책으로 수정되어야 함을 시사한다.
