Floral Initiation and Flowering Response of Potted Hepatica asiatica to Low Temperature and $GA_3$

Abstract

Floral initiation and effect of low temperature and GA3 treatments on flowering of Hepatica asiatica were investigated to establish year-round production. Floral initiation was completed on June 14 in outdoor at Suwon. The higher of flowering ratio and the shorter of number of days to flowering were shown at the longer natural chilling, indicating that H. asiatica has chilling requirement for flowering. The effect of chilling was substituted by 200 mgL1 GA3 pulsing for 2 min.

노루귀의 개화기 조절을 목적으로 자연 조건에서 화아 분화 과정을 탐색하고 성묘의 입실 시기, 저온 경과 기간 및 GA 처리에 따른 생육 및 개화 반응을 조사하였다. 자연 조건에서 6월 중순경에 분화 완료된 화아가 관찰되었다. 노루귀는 저온 경과 기간이 길수록 개화율이 높았고 개화 소요 일수도 짧았으며, 개화에 대한 저온의 효과는 GA 200mgL에 2분간 침지로 대체할 수 있었다.
