Abstract
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate clinically foot deformity by footprinting. Methods : The subject of investigation was 445 male students, a certain High school in Busan. Questionnaire, physical examination adn the footprint test were done feet of 445 students. We divided into three classes. Normal, flatfoot and cavus foot. Results and Conclusions: 1. 126 feet of students with flatfoot and 5 feet of students with cavus foot were evaluation in this paper. Among flatfoot, mild flaftoot was 88(19.8%), severe flatfoot was 31(7.0%) and heavy flatfoot was 7(1.6%). 2. In most students, they weren't recognize whether flatfoot or not. But in severe and heavy faltfoot, they recognized 21 students among 38. 3. There were no difinige correlation, found between the depression of longitudinal arch and clinical symptom. 4. In the distribution of inside of worn-out shoes, students with flatfoot have more than with normal. And students with cavus foot have than with normal in outside of worm-out shoes.
