Abstract
This study was carried out to suggest proper rehabilitation countermeasures of damaged area by forest fire through investigating change of soil erosion. The results were summarized as follows; 1. Dominant species of damaged area by forest fire are Lespedeza bicolor, Quercus spp., Carex humilis and Arundinella hirta. The plant rehabilitation period needs to 2-3 years. 2. The damaged area by forest fire is needed to earlier rehabilitation because the soil erosion is very extreme within 1-2 years later after forest fire. 3. According to the quantification theory(Ⅰ), the soil erosion are decreased with elapsed year, vegetation coverage and E, N aspect slope. Therefore, the damaged area by forest fire will be desirable to rehabilitate within 2 years. The priority rehabilitation in fire damaged area by using soil erosion control works have to be given in steep, shallow depth slope and W, S aspect slope
