Abstract
The Purpose of this study was to the effect of the player's height to the pointing techniques. This study reached the following conclusion through analyzing the VCR tape, records, matching records, registration records of the subjects. 1. It is more effective to use head attack technique when a player's height is taller than the opponent whereas wrist and waist attack techniques are effective when the player's height is shorter than the opponent or two player's heights are same. 2. When a player's height is shorter than the opponent, using back and striking technique is useful to get points considering upper research. 3. In conclusion, applied techniques are tried more than simple attack techniques regardless of height difference as current kumdo trend is getting aggressive.
