Anthonomus (Anthonomus) persicae sp. nov. on Peach Flower Bud and a Key to Korean Anthonomini (Coleoptera, Curculionidae)

Abstract

One weevil species was collected on the flower buds of peach tree (Prunus persicae (L.)) on April, 1998 in southern part of Korea. It is described as a new species, Anthonomus (Anthonomus) persicae sp. nov. with the illustrations of morphological characters. A key to genera, subgenera and species of the tribe Anthonomini in Korea, including the new species, is also provided.
