Abstract

This research is to sugest a method to establish PMIS (Project Management Information System) with a Web basis by usingProject. The PMIS is a difficult element to provide a standard seting for in the system organization and management levelwhen there are no conditions to apply to the specific area. In addition, due to the characteristic of the construction industry thatinclude various and complicated work processes, organization, the systematic management and quick and accurate informationexchange through information computerization become critical factors, affecting the success or failure of the project. There isthe fact that the PMIS has rarely been applied to the practical construction site and also been only marginally successful. There-fore, this study indicates the PMIS seting model for general SOC projects by considering the basic concepts and required con-tents since in reality it is dificult to propose a standardized definition and standard model of the PMIS. Seking a result ofmakes a case study of the establishment of the PMIS to give a general definition by providing considerations while developingand applying the system. This research is to suggest a direction to develop and apply the PMIS to similar construction projectsin future.

본 연구는 ‘부산-거제간 연결도로 민간투자사업’인 SOC 프로젝트에 대한 Internet을 이용한 Web기반 PMIS (Project Management Information System) 구축방법, 특징 및 적용사례를 조사한 연구논문이다. PMIS는 특정범위의 적용조건이 주어지지 않을 경우 시스템 구성 및 관리레벨에 대한 표준적인 설정이 어려운 분야이다. 또한 건설업이 갖는 업무프로세스의 다양성과 복잡성, 다양한 조직들로 인해 정보 전산화를 통한 체계적인 사업관리와 신속하고 정확한 정보교환은 사업의 성패를 결정짓는 중요한 요소이다. PMIS가 현업에 적용된 사례도 많지 않을 뿐만 아니라 성공사례도 드믄 것이 사실이다. 따라서 본 연구는 PMIS에 대한 ‘표준적’ 의미의 정의와 표준 모델 제시는 현실적으로 어려우므로 기본적 개념과 구성요건을 살펴보고 일반적인 SOC 프로젝트에서의 PMIS구축모델을 제시하였다. 구축후 도입효과는 설문을 통해 활용도 및 만족도를 조사하여 기대효과도 분석하였고, 시스템 개발 및 적용시 고려사항을 제시하여 일반적으로 정의내릴 수 있는 PMIS의 구축사례를 연구하였다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 유사 프로젝트 PMIS개발 및 적용에 방향을 제시하고자한다.
