Abstract

This study is to establish the green network system which connect streams with forests in Nowon-gu, grasp the ecological traits of green axis which connect Jungnangcheon with urban natural parks(Buramsan(Mt.) & Suraksan(Mt.)) and draw up the improvement plan of the ecosystem. As a consequence of the investigation, there are massive forestal biotopes the east, hydro-biotopes the west and semi-natural biotopes in urban area. So it is necessary that natural biotopes the east and west be connected in order to ensure the higher stability of urban ecosystem in Nowon-gu. As for the connection system of green network in Nowon-gu, there is natural green axis which connects Suraksan(Mt.) the south with Buramsan(Mt.) the north and is Jungnangcheon the west which flows from south to north. These are the bases of green network in Nowon-gu. As a possible axis of green network, there are closed railroad site, buffer green zones of apartment, neighborhood parks, Danghyeoncheon and bad land use area and so on.
