Abstract
This study set out to investigate the residential environment of inner city low income families located in a poor residence in terms of residential values that were really needed and to identify the problems with the residential environment where they were currently living. It's also intended to provide basic data needed to set up some guidelines to make improvement projects be a residential environment proper for inner city low income families. Based on the results accompanied by the understanding and systematic review of the spatial order and residential needs of their lives, the directions toward desirable improvement with the residential environment were suggested. It may not be enough to offer a comprehensive explanation about the residential environment of the poor residence for low income families, but it will help recognize the problems and potential of such residential environment based on the research results and suggested directions.
