Abstract

The prostitution market is a single system where various hierarchical social problems move dynamically, in which the sub-systems are bonded together, such as society, economy, health and culture. Also, it is the main variable that brings the connection between the criminal rings to act as the center of extortion and violence against women. Therefore, it will only be effective when a policy that considers multi-dimensional and dynamic factors is established to solve the problems of sex trade. This study analyzes the mutual relationship between the variables through the system dynamics methodology, which change behavioral changes of the system when the sex trade special law is put in activation, which is based on the analysis of previous studies on prostitution and related information to investigate the behavior of distributional effect in accordance with the special law in effect. The system dynamics methodology helps find the structure of causation and circulation through the existence and model of feedback loop, which causes the dynamic changes of system. Therefore, the result of the study will be useful to examine the dynamic mechanism of the changes in social system in accordance with the special law.

성매매 시장은 다층적 사회문제가 동태적으로 움직이는 하나의 시스템이다. 여기에는 사회, 경제, 보건, 문화 등의 다양한 하위 시스템들이 결합되어있으며, 범죄조직과의 연결이나 여성에 대한 폭력과 착취구조의 중심부를 차지하는 핵심 변수이기도 하다. 따라서 성매매 문제의 해결을 위해서는 다차원적이며 동태적인 원리들을 충분히 고려한 정책만이 실질적 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 본 연구는 성매매특별법 시행에 따른 파급효과의 동태성을 분석하기 위해 성매매와 관련 선행연구 및 자료들의 분석을 바탕으로 성매매특별법 시행이 사회시스템의 변화행태에 영향을 미치는 변수들 간의 상호작용 관계를 시스템 다이내믹스 방법론을 통해 분석하였다. 시스템 다이내믹스 방법론은 시스템의 역동적 변화의 원인이 되는 피드백 루프의 존재와 모델을 통해 전체적인 인과순환 구조를 파악할 수 있게 해준다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 성매매특별법시행에 따른 사회시스템 변화의 동태적 매커니즘을 파악하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 보인다.
