Abstract
This paper studied the effect of salinity on treatment of food waste containing salinity using Bacillus acidicaldarius. Volume reduction rate of food waste containing 0, 2.5, 5, 10, 12.5% salinity was treated 72.4, 52.4, 61.5, 61.4, 0% after 10 hours reaction, respectively. And then, Amount of maximum generation of carbon dioxide on treating food waste containing various salinity was 2040, 1910, 1630, 1040, 820mg/L, and concentration of Bacillus acidicaldarius on treating food waste containing 0, 2.5, 5, 10, 12.5% salinity was 259, 229, 200, 183, 171 NTU, respectively.
