and decide weight on the ones for assessing the urban sustainability. The integrated indicator systems were established field, section, item and detail indicator. The fields were classified environment, economy, society-institution and quality of life. And these indicator systems had 4 fields, 19 sections,r e s u l t s o f t h e A H P o f f i e l d s a r e a s f o l o w s : q u a l i t y o f l i f e w as evaluated the highest by 0.340, but society-institution was showed the lowest by 0.155. In the result of importance analysis, importances of air and water polution were analyzed more than 6.0, but importances of forest accumulation and essment models were decided on the basis of importances in fields, sections and detail indicators. These results can be used as tools to assess the current city and predict the future one. It is also necessary to establish a systematic urban planing for livable and sustainable city.
이우성정성관유주한김경태8는 지속가능한 개발을 위한 기본원칙인 “리우선언”과 실천과제인 "의제 2 1 ( A g e n d a 2 1 ) "을 채택하여 지구의 환경보전과 개발을 조화할 수 있는 방향을 제시하였으며 , 동 의제 28장에서 ‘지속가능한 발전을 위한 지방정부의 역할’을 강조하였다. 이와 같은 지방정부의 역할이 강조되면서 국내에서도 1995년 서울의제 21, 녹색도시 부산 21 등을 필두로 지방의제 21 운동이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그 후, 지방의제 21 전국협의회2)가 설립되어 전국적인 네트워크를 조직화하고 추진기구들의 활동과 사업을 서로 공유하고 있으며, 지속가능성 지표 및 지수3)의 개발에 관한 연구가 활성화되기 시작하였다 .그러나 우리나라의 경우 각 지방정부의 전문성과 경험 부족 등으로 인해 지방의제 21의 실천에 기초가 될 도시단위 지속가능성 지표의 개발과 선정 , 그리고 관련 시스템의 구축은 아직까지 답보상태에 머물러 있는 실정이다(정회성 등 , 2005). 따라서 본 연구는 도시의 지속가능성을 통합적으로 평가하기 위해 환경 , 경제, 사회ㆍ제도, 삶의 질과 같이 4개의 분야에 대한 체계적인 접근을 통하여 통합지표를 선정하고 , 가중치를 결정 하고자 한다.
