Identification of Armored Scales (Hemiptera: Diaspididae) on Bamboos in Korea

Abstract

This work provides an identification key to adult females of six species and four genera of armored scales including a new record, Kuwanaspis hikosani (Kuwana) that may be found on bamboos (Poaceae: Arundinaria spp., Phyllostachys spp., Pseudosasa spp., and Sasa spp.) in Korea.
