Abstract

The purpose of this study should look at well the meaning and the management method of a lunch time in childcare centers, there is a difference by an facility type and Moreover, it is in grasping what the difficult thing of a lunch time. By a method of research, we conducted a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews with 308 teachers and facility directors at child care centers in five cities in Gyeonggi-do. Results of this study, First, Lunch time was considered meaningful more as time for balanced nutrition than as time for learning table manners or interacting with peers. Second, As to the method of lunch time operation, lunch management time, food method, the result as which the meal magazine also analyzed the method, it was a meaningful difference according to facility type. The difficult thing of a lunch time is cooperation with facility director, a teacher, and a home is category-ization, since it is a childcare center management at large and the quality of childcare may be affected, there is the necessity that the improvement to this is systematized.

본 연구의 목적은 어린이집 점심시간의 의미와 운영방법을 살펴보고 시설유형에 따라 차이가 있는지, 또한 점심시간의 어려움은 무엇인지를 파악하는데 있다. 연구방법으로는 경기도 5개시에 소재한 어린이집 교사, 시설장 308명을 대상으로 질문지와 심층면담을 병행하였다. 연구결과. 첫째, 점심시간은 식사예절이나 또래간의 상호작용보다 균형 잡힌 영양공급의 시간으로 의미 부여하고 있었다. 둘째, 점심시간 운영방법은 점심운영시간, 배식방법, 식사지도 방법을 분석한 결과 시설유형별로 의미 있는 차이가 있었다. 점심시간의 어려움은 시설장, 교사, 가정과의 연계로 범주화했으며, 이러한 어려움은 어린이집 운영전반과 보육의 질에 영향을 줄 수도 있으므로 이에 대한 개선이 체계화될 필요성이 있다.
