Melapia japonica (Ogata) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), new to Korea

Abstract

A noctuid species, Melapia japonica (Ogata) is reported for the first time from Korea. Five males of Melapia japonica were collected from three islands on the southern sea in Dadohae National Park. Diagnosis of the species is provided with brief descriptions of adults including male genitalia.
