A Study of Personalized Contents Recommendation Method Based on User Preference Leaning

사용자 선호도 학습을 이용한 개인화 콘텐츠 추천 방법 연구

Abstract

According to the recent advent of the age of broadcasting & telecommunication convergence and increasing program contents in IPTV services, the accessibility to users' favorite broadcasting program contents is becoming an important issue. To improve this issue, an IPTV content recommendation service model proposed in this paper. It was automatically monitored user's preferences and recommended through tracking users' viewing and usage history in the proposed system. For correct recommendation service, the hybrid filtering method was applied by using the content-based and the collaborative filtering recommendation methods. Moreover, the proposed scheme applies personal favorite items to preference estimation for more accurate program recommendation services.

최근 방송 융합의 시대로 접어들면서 IPTV에서 이용 가능한 프로그램 콘텐츠 수가 급격히 증가함에 따라 사용자가 선호하는 방송 프로그램 콘텐츠로의 접근성의 중요성이 증대 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 접근성을 향상시키기 위한 IPTV 콘텐츠 추천 서비스 모델을 제안하였다. 제안 시스템은 사용자의 시청 및 사용기록을 추적하여 자동으로 선호도를 파악하고, 프로그램을 추천한다. 추천 서비스를 위해 내용기반 추천방법과 협업 필터링 추천방법을 이용한 혼합형 필터링 방법을 적용하였으며, 보다 정확한 프로그램 추천 서비스를 위하여 개인별 프로그램 즐겨찾기 항목을 선호도 계산에 반영 하였다.
