Abstract
This study was comparative analysis the Korean Green Building Certification Criteria(GBCC) and the Japanese Comprehensive Assessment System for Building Environmental Efficiency(CASBEE) through actual evaluation in an apartment complex. And it suggested improvement of domestic GBCC. The results can be summarized as below: 1) The followings are the assessment results, in terms of the score acquired by GBCC and CASBEE respectively: 7.1% and 6.7% for land utilization, 3.5% and 0.8% for transportation, 7.4% and 1.9% for energy, 4.5% and 2.7% for material and resource, 3.5% and 2.3% for water resource, 1.8% and 2.9% for environmental pollution prevention, 3.5% and 15.2% for maintenance and management, 15.9% and 0.4% for ecological environment and 21.2% and 23.5% for interior environment. 2) As a result of overall assessment, the GBCC scored 61.2 which is the Good level, while the CASBEE is shown to be a B+ level (Good). By considering the CASBEE score as 100, the Korean Green Building's score is considered to be 52.8, which is suitable for the good grade.
