A Study on the Systems Engineering Process for Effectively Carrying Out LRT Project

경량전철사업의 효과적인 수행을 위한 시스템엔지니어링프로세스 연구

Abstract

Light rail transit(LRT) is a public transportation and mainly has an automatic driverless operation system. LRT project is a large scaled project which a construction cost is tens of billions of won per km. Systems engineering(SE) is an interdisciplinary approach and means to enable realization of successful systems. In this paper, we propose the systems engineering processes and their outputs list for the LRT project. And then, we present template and sample case of process output. We also present a case which carried out SE process by SE tool.

경량전철시스템은 버스와 지하철의 중간정도의 수송능력을 가진 첨단 대중 교통수단으로 주로 무인으로 운전되며, 1개사업이 조단위의 건설비가 소요되는 대형 복합시스템이다. 이러한 경량전철사업을 효율적으로 수행하기 위해서는 시스템엔지니어링이 매우 중요하다. 시스템엔지니어링은 성공적인 시스템을 구현하기 위한 다분야 학문의 종합적 접근방법과 수단으로 복잡한 시스템을 개발 관리하기 위해 전체적(holistic), 생명주기적 관점에서 접근하며, 필요한 사항을 확인하고, 해야 할 일을 바르게 수행하도록 안내한다. 본 논문에서는 경량전철사업에서 시스템엔지니어링을 적용하기 위한 프로세스를 제시한다. 이를 위해 국내 경량전철사업의 시스템엔지니어링 특징을 분석하고, 국내에 적합한 시스템엔지니어링 프로세스와 프로세스의 산출물 작성을 위한 템플릿과 사례, 그리고 프로세스를 전산으로 구현한 사례를 제시한다.
