Abstract
The progress in IT has increased work efficiency in many fields, leading to the start of a new era where information is exchanged by connecting all objects under the paradigm of IoT. Interest is growing on the convergence of various fields of study that goes beyond simply applying IT to research to increase efficiency in multidisciplinary studies. As such, there is a need to develop an IT-based model that can be applied to social welfare work. Social welfare workers in Korea at present have twice the workload and stress of those of their counterparts in other OECD countries. This leads to decreased work efficiency. This paper seeks to suggest a way to increase efficiency in social welfare work by improving the work process through IT-based systems. The study is expected to contribute to increased efficiency in the area of social welfare.
IT의 발전은 많은 분야에서 업무의 효율성을 높이면서 각 분야에 맞도록 적용이 되고 있다. 이러한 IT의 기술은 IoT라는 새로운 패러다임으로 모든 사물을 연결하여 정보를 주고받을 수 있는 변화의 시점에 있다. 이러한 IT 기술을 접목하여 학문적 융합에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 학문적 융합으로 단순한 IT의 적용이 아닌, 각 학문에서 필요한 부분에 대한 상호 연구로 효율성을 높이고 있다. IT를 기반으로 다른 학문 분야인 사회복지 업무에 적용할 수 있는 모델 발굴이 필요하다. 현재 우리나라의 사회복지사는 OECD 평균의 2배에 해당하는 과중한 업무와 많은 스트레스를 받으며 근무하고 있다. 이러한 업무스트레스의 상승과 과중한 업무량은 사회복지사의 업무 효율성을 감소시킨다. 본 논문에서는 IT의 기술적 발전을 통하여 사회의 복지 분야에서 업무를 수행하고 있는 사회복지 관련 업무의 프로세스를 개선을 통해 사회복지 업무의 효율성을 높이기 위한 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 연구결과를 통하여 많은 사회복지 분야에서 업무의 효율성이 향상될 것이다.
