Implementation of the Healthcare System Using Smart TV

스마트 TV를 활용한 헬스케어 시스템 구현

Abstract

In this paper, the healthcare system, called Smart Body Fitness, is suggested. This system is realized on a smart TV to offer the customized health information of users. Magic Stick is developed to measure the weight and the body fat. When a user stands on Magic Stick, the weight and the body fat are measured, and this information are sent to DB at the same time. Other relevant information are input by using the remote control of TV. Using the preserved information, the state of user's health is analyzed, and the related information is searched and shown on TV. As a large screen can enjoy an actual feeling picture, users feel there is a personal trainer in my room. So it's possible to get efficient service about health.

본 논문에서는 사용자 맞춤형 건강관리 서비스를 위하여 사용자에게 적합한 건강관리 정보와 영상을 제공할 수 있는 스마트 TV를 활용한 헬스케어 시스템인 Smart Body Fitness를 구현한다. Smart Body Fitness를 구현하기 위하여 체중과 체지방을 측정해주는 Magic Stick을 개발하고, 이를 이용하여 체중과 체지방 정보를 자동으로 DB에 저장한다. 기타 관련 정보들은 TV 리모콘의 마우스 기능과 음성 인식 기능 등으로 입력한다. Smart Body Fitness는 저장된 정보를 이용하여 건강 상태를 분석하고 사용자에게 필요한 건강 관련 정보와 영상을 검색하여 스마트 TV에 나타낸다. 본 논문에서 구현한 Smart Body Fitness는 사용자에게 적절한 건강관련 멀티미디어 정보를 대화면의 스마트 TV를 통해 보여줌으로 내 방안에 개인 헬스트레이너가 존재하는 것 같이 느껴지게 하여, 편리하고 질 높은 서비스를 받을 수 있게 한다.
