HDR/WCG 비디오 서비스를 위한 표준화 동향

Abstract

비디오의 사실감을 극대화하기 위하여 근래에 HDTV에서 지원하는 명암비(dynamic range)와 색역(color gamut)보다 넓은 고명암비(HDR, High Dynamic Range) 및 넓은 광색역(WCG, Wide Color Gamut)을 제공하기 위한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있으며, 다양한 표준화가 여러 표준화 단체에서 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 고명암비 및 광색역 비디오 서비스를 위한 다양한 분야의 표준화 동향을 살펴보고자 한다.
