The Analysis of E-learning Learners Characteristics for Improving Teaching and Learning in Online

온라인 교수학습 향상을 위한 이러닝 학습자의 특성분석

Abstract

An analysis of learner's characteristics is very important for successful online lecture. Statistical analysis of the individual learner study the characteristics analyzed by a variety of statistical techniques for all students. It will be able to get help to develop effective teaching methods using the individual's statistical characteristics. This paper aims to provide an effective teaching and learning environment for cyber university students through a variety of statistical analyzes. In this paper, the main features(prerequisite learning level, learning motive, PC literacy, study habits, study attitude and etc) of online learners is surveyed. In order to confirm the appropriateness of the content satisfaction survey tool, factor structure model was confirmed conformity as the result of a review of confirmatory factor analysis goodness of fit index.

성공적인 온라인 강의를 위하여 학습자의 특성을 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 개별 학습자의 통계적인 분석은 모든 학생에 대해 다양한 통계적 기법을 이용하여 분석된 특성을 연구함으로써 개개인의 통계적 특성을 반영하여 보다 더 효과적인 교육방법을 개발하는데 도움을 얻을 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 다양한 통계적 분석을 통하여 사이버대학 수강생에게 효과적인 교육과 학습 환경을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서는 학습자들의 주요 특징인 선행학습의 수준, 학습의 동기, 컴퓨터 사용능력, 주기적 학습의 시간과 장소, 학습습관, 학습태도 등의 전반적인 사항을 살펴보았다. 또한 콘텐츠 만족도 조사도구의 적절성을 확인하기 위하여, 문항점검을 하여 확인적 요인분석의 적합도 지수를 검토결과 요인 구조 모형은 적합함을 확인하였다.
