Abstract

Among previous many domestic studies, few studies have been acted on the open innovation activity considering external change factor such as environmental dynamism which exert strong influence on corporate activity. Therefore, the necessity for actual analysis is more required. The study analyses the effect of open innovation how that effect would be changed by environmental dynamism that acts as a moderator variable. The result is that open innovation activities give a positively meaningful effect to innovation outcome. However, the analysis shows a different result for the case of environmental dynamism as moderate effect. In this case, in-bound innovation type has a result of positively meaningful effect to innovation outcome. Whereas, out-bound innovation type doesn't have a meaningful effect. Through this study, we found that the direction of open innovation activity under the uncertainty of industrial environment is critically considered when governmental supports and corporate strategy are established.
