Followings are the results of the research: Hardiness for the nursing students was positively correlated with professional self-concept and student adaptation to college and professional self concept was positively correlated with student adaptation to college. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that 52% by the variables, committment, professional practice, school score, school grade, control, age, mother's employment status and challenge. The conclusion of this study suggest that earlier screening and intervention programs for low hardiness and low professional self concept in nursing student should be helpful in developing and assisting student adaptation to college.
