Development of New Learning System for the Digital Generation

디지털 세대를 위한 새로운 학습 시스템 구현

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to plan and materialize a learning system for digital generation. We have used QRcode to blend smart devices and textbooks, and planned and developed a learning system based on N-screen using flipped learning. In order to figure out the effectiveness of learning system provided in this paper, we have analyzed the effect towards the field of study achievement and the field of study effectiveness by subjecting students who have learned a traditional learning system and students who have learned a learning system planned for this paper. The subjects are two classes of 12th grade students in high school located in Chuncheon, Gangwondo. According to the research results, in the field of study effectiveness, the experimental group that used the learning system of the research showed statistically similar points of understanding concepts to that of the control group that received traditional learning system. This indicates that the classes that used a new learning system could make students understand without the aid of traditional learning system in which teachers led students in ways including concept explanation and content arrangement. This also implies that the learning system of this paper can be used as learning tools of students' developments of concepts.

이 연구의 목적은 디지털 세대를 위한 학습 시스템을 설계 및 구현하는 것이다. 이를 위해 QR코드를 이용하여 스마트 기기와 서책형 교과서를 융합하고, 플립드 러닝을 적용한 N-스크린 기반의 학습 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 학습 시스템의 효과성을 알아보기 위해서, 본 학습 시스템을 이용하여 진행한 학습자와 전통적인 강의식 수업방식으로 진행한 학습자를 대상으로 학업성취도 영역과 교육효과성 영역에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 대상은 강원도 춘천에 소재한 고등학교 3학년 2개 반이다. 연구 결과에 의하면, 학업 성취도 영역에서는 연구에서 제시한 학습 시스템을 적용한 실험집단이 설명식 수업을 받은 통제집단과 통계적으로 비슷한 수준의 개념 이해 점수를 획득하였다. 이것은 새로운 교육모델을 적용한 수업이 기존의 내용 정리나 개념의 설명과 같은 교수자의 학습지도 없이도 본 교육모델로만 상호작용하면서도 교수자와 상호작용한 집단과 비슷한 수준으로 개념 이해를 하도록 했다는 것을 나타내는 것으로, 이는 본 연구의 학습 시스템이 학습자의 개념 발달을 위한 수업 도구로 활용될 수 있음을 나타내준다.
